Resumen (Presentación general del programa): UTT Outreach promoted green citizenship through several extra curricula activities. These activities involved the inclusion of renewable energy and energy efficiency into activity-based learning at the community level. Our approach included holistic family household activities in green energy, green citizenship, and the integration of basic science for households and families on energy conservation. UTT Outreach has already visited three (3)of the 14 communities that cover Trinidad. All community sessions were held on Saturdays and at the respective community centers. The sessions were well attended, and school-age children were accompanied by their parents. The content for the two-hour long sessions included disaster preparedness, climate change issues, energy conservation and the use of renewable energy. Activities for the children varied with age groups. Primary school children colored energy efficient houses, and solar panels, while secondary school students played knowledge games.
